Innovation is one of the fundamental values for José de Mello Saúde. It is only possible to ensure a high service to customers if the company is constantly seeking to innovate in the products and services, so that interacting with health facilities may be memorable both in the clinical and non-clinical aspects. In this regard, José de Mello Saúde keeps a focus on this matter, namely on campaigns that will respond to the waiting time, to the given information and to the communication with the outside. As far as operational innovation is concerned, we have an ongoing range of campaigns to increase the quality of the automation component, and to improve the services delivered that are related to logistics, pharmacy and billing. In 2011, José de Mello created the Innovation Committee, in which the Innovation departments of the different companies that compose the Group (namely: José de Mello Saúde, Brisa, Cuf e Efacec) are represented. The goals of this Committee are the generalisation of the best practices and the potentiation of the several companies’ Innovation departments.
